PICTURES OF ME In Pictures of Me, Fava presents a set of works developed during her residency period in New York City, between 2016 and 2017, when she dedicated completely to her research and experimentation.
In the exhibition, the worlds depicted in the artist's paintings take the viewer's gaze to the socially imposed conditions and issues that generate insecurity, vulnerability and fear, always to the same: women, black people, poor people, immigrants. A work on how violence becomes a plausible thing. The show was exhibited at the Galeria NYC, in New York.
